I watched both the videos about Trump and Fox News. It talked about his approval of the Fox News network and the people from it. He bashes other news networks for presenting fake news and praises Fox news and its employees. There are a lot of connections between Fox News employees and people on Trump's administration. Additionally, Trump talks about a lot of the same things that are discussed in Fox and Friends and uses the hosts as advisors. Since they know the president is listening they are talking about what he should do and actions he should take. This is actually crazy about how much of link their is between the news channel and the influence on the president and his administration. It is especially concerning because Fox and Friends specifically is known for sowing conspiracy theories and not being an accurate source of information. The connection between Fox and Trump made me think about concentrated ownership. Concentrated ownership is when the media tries to keep the economical and political climate in their favor. Therefore by having Trump on their side and having the ability to talk to him and influence him potentially they can help to move things in their favor and keep them profitable. Additionally, by keeping themselves in the good graces of Trump he praises them publicly and gets their channel more publicity.
